Our Mozambique Operations

We are looking for a QHSE Manager.You will report to the General Manager.

Key responsibilities:

Defining Quality, Hygiene, Safety, Security & Environment targetsReplying to the Quality, Hygiene, Safety, Security & Environment sections of tendersBuilding the Quality, Hygiene, Safety, Security & Environment budgetSupporting all customer and regulatory audits, at times, liaising with customers, regulatory agencies and suppliers linked to QHSEDefining the necessary trainings for Food safety and CertificationsImplementing the ISO norms to get certifiedEnsuring follow-up and control of the Quality, Hygiene, Safety, Security & Environment KPIsControlling the good application of processes, procedures and recordingRaising awareness among the staff about clients’ and legal requirementsManaging the internal and external prevention planFollowing-up on prevention visits and implementing corrective actionsEnsuring staff safety at any time by controlling infrastructures and preventionLeading investigations in case of incident or accident and communicate (Results, causes, briefing)Performing internal audits of process, procedures and rules applications, in close relationship with Group’s QHSE departmentsAnalyzing the root cause of non-conformities and defining along with the management team the corrective actionsFollowing-up on the respect of Catering activity legal requirementsBeing the main point of contact of the authorities and/or local administrations linked to Quality, Hygiene, Safety, Security & EnvironmentMaster’s degree in Food Science or Food SafetyFive years or more of quality assurance experience, in Catering or food industryProven understanding of ISO22000, HACCP and Food Safety regulationsExperience and understanding of Global Quality Management and Change ManagementWell-organized, rigorous, and methodical but enough adaptability to local constraints and team spiritMotivated to receive trainings in Security managementTaste for challenge, team spirit and tenacity are keysFluent in English and/or Portuguese is mandatory
